Roger Tatton RIP
With much regret, members of Folkmog are advised that Roger Tatton sadly passed away, on Tuesday 24th September, at home, following a long illness. Roger, who was also a member of Anglemog, always went out of his way to speak to everyone at events and to make new members and guests feel welcome. Roger will be greatly missed. As well as supporting Anglemog and Folkmog, Roger was also the MSCC Archivist for many years.
The following has been received from Chrissie Tatton in respect of funeral arrangements:
"Roger's funeral will be held on Monday 21st October 3.30. p.m. at St Faith's Crematorium, Norwich NR10 3LF, then afterwards at the Black Swan, 25 Norwich Road, St Faith's, Norwich NR10 3HJ. Roger requested no black tie, but jolly socks or bright colours would be good".
Fancy A Plus Six With Gears?
"Our Treasurer John has been at it again! Calling at Krazy Horse this morning and Dan wanted his views on a very special Plus Four which they currently have For Sale. John who is never one to pass up an opportunity to drive a Morgan, was very easily persuaded, even though he was late home and hadn't told Pam where he was!! Of course she had a pretty good idea and yes he did get told off!
Krazy Horse have developed a "bespoke" version of the manual Plus Four with a significant increase in power and torque. they have called it a "Plus Four WRP4" the WR standing for their trademark "Wild Rides".
This car has been fitted with a Sports Cat and power upgrade from 255 BHP to 335.4 BHP . engine torque increased from 391NM to 483NM.
The car looks superb in Morgan Sports Dove Grey and sits on genuine 15 inch black painted centre lock mini-lites with three spinners and yellow brake calipers. Dan has applied his usual aesthetic tweaks which all add to the appeal of this special car.
Driving the car was a real treat "I didn't want to hand it back!. It's a very quick car, the exhaust pops and bangs and the manual six speed box is an absolute joy. Of course you do need to keep your eye on the speedo
If you have ever hankered after a manual Plus Six then this is the car for you. it is a beast . MOG magazine have done a test and the car will feature in next months edition. Don't take my word for it, give Dan a call and arrange a test drive. You will not be disappointed"
