Parish Notices December 2025
Firstly a big thank you to John Riley for organising the Christmas Dinner at Hintlesham Hall.

By popular demand we will be doing the same event in 2026 on the 3rd December.
The details are here http://www.folkmog.net/events/2864746_3-12-26-folkmog-christmas-party
There is a lot in this edition of the Parish Notices. I hope you find it useful.
Committee Roles & Responsibilities
We have added to our website a presentation on the new committee members roles & responsibilities. It can found here http://www.folkmog.net/documents
We will meet 16/1/26 to fix the base of events for 2026. All and any ideas you may have can be sent to S Hodds or myself.
We are actively working on a NTMSCC 75th event. Details I hope will follow in early 2026. Of course we can hold more than one event; if you have any ideas then please tell us.
Membership Renewal
Ahead of publishing a Centre Handbook we need to both ensure members are members of MSCC and get your approval on what data you will allow to be published.
Nigel Bull & I will therefoe be sending you a form to complete and return to Nigel. I’ll also send it as a mail chimp.
FolkMog alllows guests to attend up to 3 events before joining. Members as long as they are in MSCC can also be in other car clubs.
MSCC Website Access
Morgan Sports Car Club (MSCC) have contacted centres directly asking for assistance with any issues that members have logging into the MSCC website..
This is not the FolkMog website but the site found at https://www.morgansportscarclub.com/
As an MSCC Member you have access to the 'Members Area' of the site that offers links to Technical Information, Travel Club information, Insurance, Member only Retailers Discount Codes & other information.
If any member has any issues when using the MSCC website, in the first instance please contact myself to see if we can resolve it.
MMC Recall
Morgan Motor Company has announced a recall on early CXs. The recall was posted on the MSCC bulletin board and is below. If you are in anyway concerned please call your dealer.

Hi all we have been asked to pass on this message to 2020-2021 owners from John Bower:
We have a warranty campaign running to replace the starter motors on early Plus Four cars. These are cars built between May 2020 and February 2021. attached is a list of the cars affected in the UK. Even though these cars are out of warranty, we would still replace the starter motors free of charge to any owners.
We really recommend that these starter motors are changed.
Any Morgan owners with affected cars can contact their preferred Morgan dealer and get their cars booked in for the job. We have sent starter motors out to all of the dealers who sold the original cars, but it is always best to contact the dealer first and make an appointment.
The job is not long, but the dealer will tell the owner how long they need the car for. Within a day assuming the new starter motor is still available with them.
MMC 75th Call for Pictures
We have a request from MSCC chair Jann Robinson
To commemorate the 75thAnniversary of the MSCC we would like to have a film made about the members of the MSCC and the activities that form the varied life of the MSCC.
A very kind member has volunteered to curate a short film (10 -15 min) about Life in the MSCC.
To be able to do this we would like all Centres, groups and individual members to submit photographs that show their experiences in the MSCC.
By sending in photographs, you are agreeing to these photographs being included in the media productions of the MSCC (the public domain). The short film will also be shown at the ‘Drive In’ movie night at MMC on July 3rd before the feature film, at the NEC Classic Car Show and internet outlets.
Can you please let us have copies of any photos you have that record your participation in an MSCC/Morgan event, maybe just one or two photos per member
Idealy these will include the FolkMog flag or badge in them.
I need to submit for the centre up to 10 photos by 11/1/26 so please get them to me by email for 5/1/26.
